Realistically, it is very difficult to adhere to exercising as it requires will and dedication. On the other hand, it is very easy to stop your routine workout and continue your life like the majority of people. Sudden stopping your exercise routine has negative changes besides the beginning of weight gain.

When a person stop the regular workout, the body begins to lose strength and muscles especially if the workout included weight lifting and a routine schedule. It is well known that exercising helps in lowering blood pressure. Thus, it is not unusual for the blood pressure to rise when stopping Exercising.

Flowerer, we are not starting that one will have blood pressure elevation if you stop exercising but that other factors such as smoking and alcohol may leads to elevate the blood pressure.
